Pompano Fish Fry Ingredients: Pompano Fish………….2 lbs Cut into steaks Turmeric……….1/2 tsp Chilli powder..1 tsp Coriander powder……….1 tsp Garlic and ginger paste………1 ½ tsp Tamarind pulp…..2 Tblsp Lime juice…..1/2 lime Olive oil…..2 Tblp Chickpea flour(available in Indian stores)….1 heaped Tblsp Salt………..to taste Method: Mix together tamarind pulp,salt,chilli powder,coriander,lime juice,olive oil,garlic ginger paste, Add fish and mix well to coat the fish. Marinate fish for four hours or overnite. In a shallow pan add ¼ cup olive oil, Add chickpea flour to the fish, mix well. Place fish steaks in the hot oil and fry for 5-8 mins on each side or until well done. Serve hot…………ENJOY!!!
